ATENCIÓN PLENA
La atención plena es un tipo de meditación en la que te enfocas en ser intensamente consciente de lo que estás sintiendo y sintiendo en el momento, sin interpretación ni juicio.
La práctica de la atención plena implica métodos de respiración, imágenes guiadas y otras prácticas para relajar el cuerpo y la mente y ayudar a reducir el estrés.
Dedicar demasiado tiempo a planificar, resolver problemas, soñar despierto o tener pensamientos negativos o aleatorios puede ser agotador. También puede hacerlo más propenso a experimentar estrés, ansiedad y síntomas de depresión.
La práctica de ejercicios de atención plena puede ayudarlo a desviar su atención de este tipo de pensamiento e interactuar con el mundo que lo rodea.

Mindfulness no es una “cura” para condiciones médicas graves y no debe ser utilizado como un sustituto al tratamiento médico, pero la investigación indica que el entrenamiento mental puede tener un efecto terapéutico significativo para aquellas personas que experimentan estrés, ansiedad, hipertensión, depresión, dolor crónico, migrañas, enfermedades del corazón, diabetes y otras dolencias. Además, los participantes suelen decir que se sienten más vivos, más “en sintonía” con ellos mismos y con los demás.
